Matt’s first started working as a business consultant in 1988, providing consulting services to a Fortune 50 executive management team. That work laid the foundation for his subsequent 20 years as a business attorney in the cannabis space, going out of his way and at personal risk, to proactively advise, protect and assist cannabis operations.
Terrance Alan has over 25 years of experience helping businesses navigate government bureaucracy. In that time he has created numerous small businesses, Political Action Committees, Governmental Commissions, Trade Associations, and has written and passed multiple pieces of legislation.
While in law school, Ken worked as a political consultant for the former Chair of the San Francisco Cannabis State Legalization Task Force, Terrance Alan. In that capacity, Ken assisted Mr. Alan in advising the Board of Supervisors, the Mayor, and other city departments on matters relating to the legalization of cannabis, following the adoption of the Adult Use of Marijuana Act.
Aren Ash, Esq. holds a Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from California State University, East Bay. His journey into the cannabis industry started as a member of Students for Sensible Drug Policy at Golden Gate University School of Law.
